Sunday night fire consumes vacant Montgomery home

Montgomery Fire/Rescue responded to a fire at a vacant home Sunday evening at the 200 block of West South Boulevard, according to a news release.

Five emergency vehicles were dispatched to the home, which had smoke and visible flames. After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters conducted a search and found no one inside, the release states.

Responders reported no injuries in the blaze and said and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
