PHOTOS: Dump truck engulfed in flames in Lincoln County

HIGH SHOALS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A dump truck caught on fire in southern Lincoln County Wednesday evening.

According to the South Fork Fire Department, crews responded to a vehicle fire off Mirror Lake Drive. The fire was in the cab of the dump truck.

The fire was reportedly quickly controlled, and no injuries occurred. The Lincolnton Fire Department also responded to the scene.
