One dead after tractor-trailer rollover in town of Alexandria
Nov. 22—ALEXANDRIA BAY — One person has died after a tractor-trailer rollover crash on Route 37 in the town of Alexandria on Tuesday morning, state police said.
State police say that the preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle was traveling south on Route 37 when the driver possibly had a medical event before exiting the right shoulder of the road.
The operator of the vehicle was treated at the scene and transported to River Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
State police say that shortly before 6 a.m. they, along with Redwood Fire, Alexandria Bay Fire and Alexandria Bay Ambulance, responded to the scene.
