Newark Police, Fire recover dead male in Licking River
NEWARK — A dead male was found in the Licking River on Sunday afternoon.
First responders were called to an area behind the first block of EasNational Drive about 2:15 p.m., where the male was found unresponsive in the river, according to a Newark Police press release.
On Monday afternoon, Newark police identified the man as Keith Russell, 31, of Newark. No other information was available as of press time
The investigation continues. Foul play is not suspected.
