All northbound lanes on Interstate 75 have been cleared and reopened after they were closed due to a truck fire Sunday afternoon, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The Cincinnati Fire Department extinguished the truck fire, located just beyond Mitchell Avenue. The fire was first reported by ODOT shortly after 11:30 a.m., closing the I-75 northbound lanes until about 3 p.m.

No injuries were reported in the incident, according to the fire department.

"There were no hazardous materials on the truck. We are completing extinguishment and working with (ODOT) to open the highway as soon as we can do so safely," the department said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
