Gunshot victim seriously ill in hospital

A man who was shot in an attack four days ago remains in a serious condition in hospital.

The 35-year-old was shot at about 20:20 BST on Friday at an address on Hubbard Walk in Middlesbrough.

Police have charged a man aged 25 with attempted murder, while a 19-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of the same offence has been released on bail.

Cleveland detectives are looking for three other men in connection with the shooting.

Two of them have been named as 25 year-old Nathan Blagg and 22 year-old Michael Kinlan, both from Middlesbrough.

Meanwhile, two men aged 28 and 58, both from Middlesbrough, appeared in court on Monday charged with violent disorder.

They were remanded into custody.

Police believe a black coloured Kia Sorento, registration number NV57 WLH, was used in the shooting and asked anyone who may have seen the car on 17 May to get in touch.
