Chris Brown has sparked controversy after releasing his latest music video, “WE (Warm Embrace),” featuring Normani. While still condemning Brown for his infamous attack against Rihanna in 2009, people are also bashing Normani for choosing to collaborate with the 33-year-old artist.

While many people apparently choose not to forgive Brown, others are praising his work.

Tory Lanez, who remains one of Brown’s supporters, expects a big summer from the singer.

Normani appears as Brown’s dream girl in the latest music video. The 26-year-old artist majestically arrives at Brown’s mansion and makes a lasting impression, seducing him with her impeccable dance skills. The pair exchange a warm embrace and continue to become increasingly intimate throughout the video, living out their wildest fantasies.

In the real world, however, Brown’s tainted history continues to haunt him. According to Newsweek, the singer has faced multiple accusations of violence against women. Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, requested a restraining order against the artist in 2017. Tran said Brown was aggressive toward her and demanded she return the money and jewels she received during their relationship.

Brown’s alleged attack against Rihanna in 2009 still remains the most graphic accusation brought against the musician, who faced criminal charges after photos revealed severe bruises on the Barbados singer. Brown pled guilty to assault and completed his probation in 2015.
