Car catches fire in Montgomery County high school parking lot

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said crews were in a high school parking lot Friday after a car caught fire there.

MCFRS spokesman Pete Piringer said in a post on the X platform that the fire was in the student parking lot of Colonel Zadok Magruder High School, located at 5939 Muncaster Mill Rd.

Piringer said crews put out the fire and no one was hurt.
