Black History celebration at Twinsburg Historical Society Museum Open House

The theme for the Feb. 27 monthly open house is “Black History, a Time of Sharing”.

Doors will open at 2 p.m. and the program will start at 3 p.m. History is made up of memories so guests are invited to bring something to share.

Display space is available for family albums or collections of memorabilia for those who want to share recollections of growing up in Twinsburg. There will be plenty of opportunity mix and mingle.

For questions, email Dr. Constance Longmire at constance@drconstancelongmire.com. Patrons are also invited to bring things the day of the open house, including anything to be archived or donated to the Twinsburg Historical Society.

The program organizers are trustees Longmire, with the coordination of Stella White Darden. Trustee Keith Harries will be taping. Light refreshments will be served and new members are welcome.

The open house supports the Twinsburg Historical Society at 8996 Darrow Road, right next to Mr. Chicken.
