Fire damages home, boat, car and garage, Horry County Fires Rescue says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A home caught fire along with a boat, a garage, and a car Thursday evening on Wildlife Lane near Pee Dee Highway, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.

Crews were dispatched to the scene at about 4:40 p.m. When they arrived, they found that the home residence and a nearby building had suffered significant fire damage, along with a vehicle and boat.

No injuries were reported, HCFR said. Displaced residents will be offered assistance from the American Red Cross of South Carolina.

The Brittons Neck / Gresham Volunteer Fire Department assisted Horry County Fire Rescue. The cause of the remains under investigation.
