Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (as well as other celebrity power-couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen) will be guests on Wednesday’s episode of Khloé Kardashian’s FYI talk show Kocktails with Khloé. In a teaser clip for the episode, Khloé asked Kanye where his confidence comes from, and he said it’s from “not having a slave mentality.”

“I think my grandfather mostly, but my parents also,” Kanye said. “Just not having a slave mentality, because so many people… what holds them back is they don’t see themselves in a higher position.”

He goes on to talk about how his vision of the future is like how people who can see ghosts: “It’s like if someone could see ghosts or something, and no one believed them. That’s like how I feel I can see the future. I can see a better future. I can see a better future for humanity. I can see walls that Robert Kardashian broke down, walls that you guys broke down, and now walls that we’re at.”

He also shared a story of how North West took Kanye’s phone, which had a bunch of lyrics on it, and flushed it down the toilet. He also spoke about his reason for getting a phone in the first place: “I got a phone because somebody decided they wanted to marry Kris Humphries…”
