Kanye West’s ‘The Life of Pablo’ is Now on Streaming Services and Available For Purchase
UPDATE: The Life Of Pablo is now available for streaming on SoundCloud. Right now only 30-second previews of each track are available but it should be interesting to see how this unfolds, especially with the website’s recent launch of SoundCloud Go.
UPDATE: The Life Of Pablo is now available to buy directly from Kanye’s website here. The website has also been updated with a Tour section, which currently has his previously announced shows at Paradise International festival in the Philippines and Governor’s Ball in New York.
It looks like Kanye West’s claims that “My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal,” aren’t entirely true after all.
A Def Jam executive told The New York Times today that “‘a newly updated, remixed and remastered version’ of The Life of Pablo would be streaming on all major services by midnight on Friday.” While the lifetime Tidal exclusivity didn’t turn out to be true, the launch still proved to be very beneficial for the company, bringing in over 250 million streams to date.
The album currently appears in full for UK Spotify users and is expected to be available for streaming in the US by midnight. Listen below when it becomes available in your area.
