Watch Anthony Hopkins Get Snatched in 'Kidnapping Mr. Heineken' Trailer (Exclusive)

It was one of the most audacious kidnappings in history: In 1983, a group of small-time crooks abducted Dutch beer tycoon Alfred “Freddy” Heineken, demanding several million Euros in ransom for his return. Amazingly, they got the money — but it didn’t take long for things to fall apart. Now, the infamous European crime has been turned into a new thriller — the trailer for which you can watch exclusively above — starring Oscar-winner Sir Anthony Hopkins as Heineken.

The crime drama also stars Sam Worthington (Avatar) and Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas) as members of the group of childhood friends who snatch Heiney in broad daylight on the streets of Amsterdam.

Directed by Swedish filmmaker Daniel Alfredson, who helmed the 2009 version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Heineken will be untapped in theaters and on demand March 6.
