See Why Vince Vaughn and Hailee Steinfeld Are on the Run in 'Term Life' Trailer

Vince Vaughn has only one goal in the upcoming crime thriller Term Life —staying alive long enough to ensure his daughter’s future financial comfort. Vaughn plays Nick, a career thief who has finally reached the end of his lucky streak, as seen in the exclusive trailer above.

Marked for death by a drug lord, crooked cops, and even contract killers, Nick makes a desperate move, taking out a life insurance policy on himself that would be payable to his estranged daughter (Hailee Steinfeld). The catch: The policy doesn’t take effect for 21 days. In his attempt to make good on a relationship marked by distance, Nick has to evade the myriad threats awaiting him as he tries to survive so his daughter can cash in.

Also with Bill Paxton, Jonathan Banks, Mike Epps, Jon Favreau, Taraji P. Henson, and Terrence Howard, Term Life, directed by Peter Billingsley (Four Christmases, The Break-Up), is available on VOD March 1 and enters theaters April 8.
