The ‘WandaVision’ Cast Is Full of MCU Characters You’ve Seen Before

Wanda, a reality-warping telepath who can basically shoot balls of red energy from her hands and make people see wild things, made her Marvel Cinematic Univerde Debut in a credits scene at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and has been one of the MCU’s most important characters ever since. Initially starting as an antagonist of sorts in Avengers: Age of Ultron, she (and her brother, Pietro/Quicksilver) eventually joined the Avengers before [SPOILER ALERT!] his death at the end of the film. She continued her important role—often paired with Vision—in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame; Marvel chief Kevin Feige has said she’s the most powerful Avenger.

Olsen has been one of the best actresses in the business over the last decade or so too even outside of her work in the Marvel world. She kickstarted her career in 2011 with a critically acclaimed turn in the mystery film Martha Marcy May Marlene, and over the next decade had memorable roles in 2014’s Godzilla, the underrated dark comedy Ingrid Goes West (alongside Aubrey Plaza), and with fellow Avenger Jeremy Renner in 2017’s Wind River. Olsen also appeared alongside Star Wars star Kelly Marie Tran in the little-seen but very good TV series Sorry For Your Loss, which aired on Facebook Watch. The whole sitcom thing in WandaVision kind of brings things full circle for Olsen, who has a pair of older siblings you may remember—Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, who starred for years on Full House.
