ICYMI, Rare Beauty's Instagram broke the news of brunette icon Selena Gomez going blonde last week, but last night, Selena posted the first shot of herself with lighter locks on her own account...and didn't opt for just a casual mirror selfie this time around. Her first post, snapped by makeup artist Hung Vanngo, featured herself in full blown, "look at me now!" glam. “Back to work 📸 @hungvanngo,” she captioned the pic.

Personally never thought that Selena would go blonde again, but she actually teased she was interested in giving the color a try again back in February. “Would you ever go back to blonde?” she read during a Q&A on her Instagram Live, then nodded. “One thousand percent.”

During said Live, Selena also detailed her skincare routine and whether she saw herself and Rare Beauty going into skincare in the near future.

“My skincare routine, so all I do is I keep it pretty simple,” she said. “I use La Mer to wash my face and then I use lotion. My favorite product of mine is the luminizer so I actually end up using that with the primer at the same time. My primer is something I’m very, very proud of. If you could just wear my primer, I promise you it’s pretty much all you need.”

On whether Rare Beauty would do skincare—aka one of the newer cash grabs for celebs—Selena said, “[I] don’t know. Here’s the reason why: I respect very very much on how people individually have their own skincare product routine so I would never be someone that can tell you I know everything about skin and what’s right for you. So it’s very very different for each person so I’m just going to say that. I don’t know if Rare will do that, but all I want to know what works for everybody else so. That’s hard. That’s actually harder than makeup.”
