You Can Play Video Games All Night in This Elevated 7-Eleven Store on Airbnb for Just $11
If you missed out on the Blockbuster store that was made available on Airbnb last year, or you're just a gaming fiend who never sleeps on a chance to play the highly coveted PlayStation 5, then listen here. 7-Eleven, the home of the Slurpee and other delectable grab-and-go foods, has teamed up with Airbnb to offer gamers the ultimate sleepover experience.
During the weekend of February 26 to 28, guests will be able to book a one-night stay in an actual 7-Eleven store where they'll be able to play the PlayStation 5 all night long. The opportunity is exclusive to a brand new location in Dallas, Texas that has yet to open to the public. For the occasion, it will be transformed into a plush futuristic gaming palace where parties of two can play video games, drink Slurpees, eat tacos all night, and more.
The store will feature a game pod decked out with a big-screen TV, luxury lounge chairs, and DualSense controllers. The game-all-night guests, as 7-Eleven coined them, will be able to use the PlayStation 5 console, as well as choose from a variety of games. They'll also be granted an exclusive one-hour Twitch streaming session with gamer and founder of world-renowned gaming organization FaZe Clan, FaZe Temperrr. And of course, when those late-night munchies kick in, guests can choose from all of their favorite 7-Eleven goodies to indulge in. There will even be a special Slurpee station!
This opportunity will only be available to residents 18 years and older in Dallas County, Texas. Starting February 1st, those interested can head here to try their luck at booking one of two exclusive stays at the store on either the night of February 26 or February 28. Each night will cost precisely $11 and allow two gamers of the same household access to the gaming paradise that is within this new, never-been-shopped-in 7‑Eleven store. What's even cooler is that this location is actually one of six new 7-Eleven Evolution stores that are being tested out across the country. Unlike the traditional store, 7-Eleven Evolution stores introduce a new innovative store format.
Furthermore, 7-Eleven and Airbnb will be taking extra safety measures to protect game-all-night guests. This includes hiring a team of certified biohazard professionals to disinfect the store prior to check-ins, as well as health screenings for guests, personal protective equipment (PPE), and hand sanitizer stations. Guests will also be required to wear a mask when not eating or drinking.
