Kensington Palace said Monday that the duchess — avid foodie and former proprietor of the lifestyle blog The Tig — has thrown her support behind a new cookbook featuring recipes prepared by women gathering at a Muslim community center in West London. They began cooking for local residents after last year’s tragic Grenfell fire.

The palace confirmed that Markle has been visiting the Hubb Community Kitchen since January — months before her May marriage to Prince Harry — and is “inspired by how the project empowers women at a grassroots level.”

They’ve now joined forces to release Together, Our Community Cookbook. While the dishes appear to be the work of the women of the Hubb (the Arabic word for “love”) Community Kitchen, Meghan is featured on the cover and has written the foreword under her royal title, HRH the Duchess of Sussex.

Through the Royal Foundation, profits from the book’s sales will be used to support the Hubb Community Kitchen and other cooking-inspired charity projects.

Meghan also narrates and appears in a video promoting the cookbook.
