I’m sure you know this by now, but Robert Pattinson is the newest Batman! Truth be told, if you watch his new movie The Batman only to see how he fares against the sexy bat-heroes of the past, no one will judge you for it bc same. All that to say, since the film dropped in theaters on March 4, you may be wondering if you actually have to put on pants and a bra to go see it (again, bc same). So behold, everything you need to know about streaming The Batman at home.

Can I stream The Batman at home right now?

Good news! The wait to see The Batman right from your couch is finally over. Per Warner Bros.’ agreement to release its 2022 theatrical films on HBO Max after a 45-day window, the latest R-Patz hit became available to stream earlier today, April 18…at 12:01 a.m. PT, or 3:01 a.m. ET to be exact. If you wanna feel a little retro though, you can also catch the film at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 23 on HBO.

Can I still watch The Batman in theaters?

If you’re still hoping to catch it on the big screen, some theaters are still playing the film. But you’d better run because it’s reaching the tail end of its theatrical release now that it’s available on streaming platforms. However, considering how popular the film has been since it came out, there’s no doubt we’ll see it continue playing on the big screen for at least a little while longer.

Is There Any Other Way I Can Watch?

If you don’t have an HBO Max subscription, beginning today, you can buy The Batman on something Warner Bros. calls “early premium digital ownership.” Basically, you can buy the film for $29.99 or rent it for 48 hours for $24.99 on digital platforms like Amazon Prime, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play. And for the ultimate Blockbuster-esque experience, viewers can actually purchase The Batman IRL beginning May 24 in 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD. Happy viewing!
