Memorial Day is on Monday, May 25 this year, and while the long weekend is known for bringing about major deals on fashion, beauty items and home goods, if you’re in the market for a new television, there are plenty of tech deals to shop, too.
Below, we’ve rounded up some of the top Memorial Day TV sales for 2020, all on the latest smart TVs (with at least 4K Ultra HD) that are $100 off or more.
One standout on sale is Samsung’s newest model, a 55″ Class Q70T QLED 4K Smart TV with voice control for $100 off its original price tag — and this isn’t your ordinary television.
The new Samsung TV has Quantum Light-Emitting Diod (QLED), which makes it like a regular LED TV but better because it uses quantum dot technology. In regular terms, it basically uses an even bigger spectrum of colors to supercharge the brightness and color of your TV. Combined with Quantum HDR, which is responsible for bringing out a massive amount of detail, this all creates the clearest picture and a more immersive experience.

If a clear screen is important to you, it should be noted that this TV also has adaptive picture, which means no matter if you’re watching with the lights on or off in the room, the picture will automatically adjust its brightness and color for the clearest view.
“The picture and graphics are beyond beautiful, it makes you feel like you are in the show!” one reviewer wrote on Samsung’s website.
Another noteworthy feature, outside of its amazing picture, is that the TV also has Universal Guide, which pulls in television and movie recommendations based on your activity from all of your subscribed streaming services. This means you don’t have to go into each service one by one and search for something to watch. Sure, it’s not something you need, but you have to admit, it’s pretty convenient.
Right now, Samsung is offering 2 percent back in rewards points (four points for every $1) on all QLED TV purchases. Those points are all redeemable for other Samsung products, like phones, laptops, kitchen appliances, watches and more.
