Will Smith and cast of 'Aladdin' in Crosswalk the Musical on 'The Late Late Show'

Will Smith and his Aladdin co-stars Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud joined The Late Late Show With James Corden for Crosswalk the Musical: Aladdin edition. Obviously Massoud played Aladdin, Scott played Princess Jasmine, and Corden at first looked like he was gonna play the Genie, blue face paint and all. That is until Smith showed up and Corden was forced to play Abu. Once all was set at the corner of Genesee Avenue and Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, the crew hit the street (literally) and performed Aladdin classics. That is, until the light turned green again.

Smith, Corden and company started with “Friend Like Me” before moving on to “Prince Ali.” During this song, Smith started using a car as a prop for his dancing and the driver responded by hanging almost completely out his window and moving to the music. Some of the other spectators fortunate enough to be stuck at the red light danced along in their cars while others appeared ready to take a nap. But that would have been difficult when the group performed “A Whole New World” due to the fact that a forklift was used to lift the magic carpet into the air, with Smith, Corden, Scott, and Moussad riding high.

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. on CBS.
