Twitter takes notice after President Trump posts about speech in Nashville that's actually in New Orleans
CNN New Day hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota shared a quick laugh at the expense of President Trump on Monday after he incorrectly tweeted that he was headed to Nashville to speak at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 100th annual convention, which is actually taking place in New Orleans.
And even though Trump deleted the tweet, people on Twitter were quick to react. Some called him “clueless” and questioned his geographical education level.
Trump tweeted that he’s going to address the Farm Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, but the Farm Convention is actually in New Orleans. Do you think they will just let him head on over to Nashville? Remember they let him walk a long way with toilet paper stuck to his shoe. 😂

How is it possible we have a president whose basic geographical knowledge is third grade? Trump confuses New Orleans for Nashville https://t.co/IU3QKTdz4n via @nypost

Clueless!
Trump tweets that he’s looking forward to addressing farmers in Nashville. His speech is actually in New Orleans. https://t.co/L0J6stbWeU— Greg Wathen (@WathenGreg) January 14, 2019

But others defended the president and the full schedule that he endures.
So what! Have you never been at a concert when the artist on stage said thank you to the wrong city? Successful people are busy people. They travel around a lot. Who cares.

Well, when you are briefed all day long on events around the world, & our country to boot,
it’s gonna happen once in while…Monday’s in the WH.— PUBLIUS_MAXIMUS XX (@ThPaine_1737) January 14, 2019
While Berman did acknowledge that the tweet had been taken down, he and Camerota weren’t quite done with it.
“It is another city that starts with an ‘N,’” Camerota said.
