Trump's hurricane comments become a children's book

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert took some of the more questionable comments that President Trump made during his tour of Hurricane Florence damage and turn them into a children's book. Host Stephen Colbert said, "[Trump's] comments are so disturbingly inappropriate relative to this tragedy, the only way we could make them remotely palatable is to turn it into a children's book." The title of the book is "Whose Boat Is This Boat? Comments That Don't Help In The Aftermath Of A Hurricane." All of the books dialogue is entirely comprised of actual quotes from Trump. And while many of the president's comments could be considered tone-deaf, as dialogue in a children's book, they kinda work. One passage has a cartoon Trump asking victims, "Is this your boat? Or did it become your boat?" There was no mention of whether the book will be published, but that's probably for the best. Colbert admitted after he finished that the moral of the story is, "There is no moral." The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 on CBS.
