Tom Arnold backs up Omarosa, gives details about Trump’s alleged N-word tape

On Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Tom Arnold talked about the alleged Donald Trump N-word tape that is making headlines this week. Arnold first starting talking about the tape, which he describes as a compilation of clips of Trump from the set of The Apprentice, back in 2016. He says he saw the tape through friends who worked on the show, and that making similar tapes is common in the industry. He now has his own show on Viceland, The Hunt For the Trump Tapes, dedicated to unearthing this tape, among others.Arnold, who has known Trump since they worked on the 1991 HBO special, Roseanne Barr Live from Trump Castle, seems convinced that the N-word tape isn’t the only damaging tape. Basically, any tape will do.“If you could see one day of Donald Trump on that set, one full day, you'll realize that's what's going on in the white house,” Arnold said. “He's incompetent, he is racist. He sexually harasses people.”

Mark Burnett, creator of The Apprentice, is a main target of Arnold’s show. Arnold told Kimmel that Burnett is protecting Trump because he won’t release the footage which, if it does exist, is owned by MGM. Arnold also claims that an MGM board member approached Arnold to say that Burnett has instructed board members not to discuss the N-word tape because Trump is Burnett’s “best friend.”Arnold is more than confident that the tapes from The Apprentice will come out, mostly due to an FCC rule that requires conversations between hosts and producers on game show sets to be filmed.
