Harry Styles is on the cover of Rolling Stone and it serves as a reminder that social media has strong opinions about armpits.

We knew this — especially when it comes to women who have a little or a lot of armpit hair (see: Halsey and Emily Ratajkowski) — but were reminded by the singer’s shirtless pose with tattoos and teeth on display as well as pits and nips. While it is for sure a widely-admired cover (“I AM NOT BREATHING,” is a widely-liked reaction), there is a lot of banter about his underarms — pro, con and beyond — as well as his nipples, as he has four. (Yes, you read that right.)

There are many people who are very into Styles’s armpits.

Conversely, there are many who are in the “too much armpit” camp.

Frankly, we’re not sure if this is a positive or negative reaction.

Some have questions about the former One Direction boy bander’s pits.

Others had thoughts about his pit grooming.

There was even a “Hairy Styles” armpit pun.

And lest you worry that his nipples were left out of the conversation, know that they weren’t. While they didn’t get as much attention as the pits, they are a hot topic too.

And, fun fact, Styles has four nipples — it’s a condition called polythelia. So there are additional comments about that, with it noted that it’s unfair the third one made it in on the cover and the fourth didn’t.

Styles, who recently turned down the role of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid movie remake, will reportedly drop his second album “this summer/early fall,” according to reports.
