Nancy Cartwright Reprises

The SimpsonsNancy Cartwright will reprise her voice role as Rufus The Naked Mole-Rat in next month’s Disney Channel live-action Kim Possible movie.

Cartwright, who has played Bart Simpson, among other characters, for more than 30 years, voiced the Rufus character for Disney Channel’s 2002-07 Kim Possible animated series.

The live-action Kim Possible movie, written by Josh Cagan and Bob Schooley & Mark McCorkle, follows the title character and best friend Ron Stoppable on their freshman year of high school while saving the world from evil villains.

The movie stars Sadie Stanley as Kim Possible, Sean Giambrone as Ron Stoppable, Todd Stashwick and Taylor Ortega as villain duo Drakken and Shego, and Ciara Wilson, Alyson Hannigan, Connie Ray, Issac Ryan Brown and Erika Tham.

McCorkle, Schooley and Zanne Devine serve as executive producers. The movie was co-directed and co-produced by Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky, and is produced by Middleton Productions, a subsidiary of Omnifilm Entertainment.

Kim Possible premieres Friday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. EST/PST on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
