Fire at Hong Kong marina burns sixteen boats

In video footage shared with Reuters, a massive fire was seen raging with thick black smoke clouding the sky. An explosion was heard as the fire was ongoing at the Aberdeen South Typhoon Shelter.

The blaze started at 2:34 a.m. local time (18:34 GMT) and the fire department said it had to send in several teams of fire fighters, including 11 fire boat monitors and eight jets.

One person has been sent to Ruttonjee Hospital for treatment.
