Olivia Munn Demonstrates Her Epic Sword Skills for Ryan Reynolds
Olivia Munn learned a thing or two about battling with swords to play Psylocke in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse and she put those skills to use over Super Bowl weekend in San Francisco. The 35-year-old actress hung out with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and posted a hilarious Psylocke vs. Deadpool sword fight video to Instagram.
“Right hand left hand sword play,” she captioned the clip of her flipping her weapon around with ease as Reynolds taps her on the head with a blue balloon sword.
Munn had to get into tip-top shape for the role, but just because filming wrapped on the Marvel flick, doesn’t mean she isn’t keeping up her intense workouts. “I still do taekwondo and I have a sword closet at home. It’s really a great exercise for me to do,” she told E! News. “I’ve been back in L.A. doing Body by Simone. You go in there and it’s crazy,” she added, describing the difficulty of the dance classes. “Going in there isn’t like a regular frilly … they’re like ballerinas who are hard core.”
