Kylie Jenner Didn’t Get the Memo About the Kardashians Pulling Back From the Limelight Following Kim’s Robbery

Ever since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint, the reality TV family has been pulling back from the limelight. Well, everyone except Kylie.

Khloé gave an update about Kim on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, saying, “She’s not doing that well.” That seemed clear on Thursday, when news broke that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians ringleader had canceled an upcoming club appearance in Las Vegas and is receiving “professional counseling” to cope with the trauma she endured while being robbed by five armed men. According to Khloé, the crime was a “wake-up call” to the family to make “life adjustments,” including to “pull back.”

However, while Kim hasn’t posted on social media since the night of the robbery — and the rest of the family has scaled back (save for some KUWTK wrap party pics, workout shots, and other self-promotion) — there is one person in the Kardashian “klan” who hasn’t played along: Kylie. The 19-year-old pucker princess continues to share personal footage and photos from her house of herself and those closest to her.

On Wednesday night, Kylie took to Snapchat to share video of a visit from Tyga and his son, King Cairo. She posed on the rapper’s back and next to his son in the foyer of her home.

And she sat on a staircase and batted her lashes for the cameras.

She has also posted these shots around her home:

Of course, she has several homes (four! groan!), so it’s unclear which one(s) she’s posing in, but she’s not exactly dialing it back. She’s still giving her 76.5 million followers an intimate look at her living quarters. And, in the undies pic, an intimate look of herself in her living quarters. Also, the fur didn’t cost $4 million like Kim’s ring, but we imagine it wasn’t cheap either.

In a new interview with Complex, for which Kylie is the October/November cover girl, Khloé tells the mag: “Nothing can sway Kylie. She’ll do what she wants to do, no matter what.” Although she was talking about her younger sister’s goth phase in sixth grade, the quotes could apply today as well.

It certainly looks as if Kylie, who mimics Kim’s lavish lifestyle even more than the other Kardashian sibs, is practically inviting her fans into her home with her frequent photos taken by the entrance, foyer, bathrooms, living room, and bedrooms. But Jenner told Complex that while her fame has blossomed as a result of sharing her life on Instagram and Snapchat, she’s actually very careful about keeping parts of her life secret.

“I don’t sit around and stare at my cars and Snapchat them,” she told the mag. “That’s what people think I do, but there’s a big part of my life that I don’t like to show. I’m ‘Kylie Jenner’ to the world, but I’m just ‘Kylie’ to my friends and family.” She added that the public only sees small glimpses of “Kylie,” lamenting, “I already give so much of my life.”

We hope she is being selective. And safe.
