Kris Jenner Says She Wants to Change Her Name Back to Kardashian
Goodbye, Kris Jenner! Hello, Kris Kardashian?
In a deleted scene from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kris Jenner drops a major bomb on Khloe Kardashian. While the two ride in the car together, Khloe asks her mom who she calls to get catering from their favorite Mexican restaurant.
“I call the manager usually and I say, ‘Hey! It’s Kris Kardashian,’” Kris said in the video.
“Your name isn’t Kris Kardashian,” Khloe responds.
“I’m going to change my name back to Kardashian,” Kris says.
Khloe replies, “Why? You haven’t been that in over 24 years."
"I was that before you were that,” Kris explains. “I was the original Kardashian."
This isn’t the first time the 60-year-old has contemplated swapping Jenner for Kardashian. In 2011 Kris toyed with the same idea in an episode of the family’s reality show that was appropriately titled, “The Former Mrs. Jenner.”
“At this point it’s just like a branding thing,” she said to her daughters Kim and Kendall on film.
But in 2013, following her divorce, Kris shut down the rumors that she was changing her moniker.
"I’d like to think people are smarter than to believe this stuff. It’s all rubbish,” she told E! News.
