Kandi Burruss Welcomes a Son Who Will Not Grow Up to Be a Scrub

The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker are parents now after Kandi gave birth to a healthy baby boy Wednesday morning.
“Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect,” Burruss said, confirming the good news to People.
Burruss, who wrote hits like “No Scrubs” and “Bills Bills Bills” before she was a Real Housewife, and Tucker were married in 2014. Their difficulty conceiving was a a major plot point both on Real Housewives and on her own spin-off show.
The couple did not divulge their new son’s name.

“Getting ready for Baby Tucker,” Todd wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to meet my little man!”
Both Burruss and Tucker have daughters from previous relationships. The two said during the pregnancy that they were hoping for a boy.
