Eddie Cibrian Calls Ex-Wife Brandi Glanville a Liar

Time has not healed the wounds between Eddie Cibrian and Brandi Glanville. In fact, they’re still gaping.

Responding to the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s most recent public complaints — she blasted LeAnn Rimes for posting holiday photos of their sons on social media — the Baby Daddy actor didn’t mince words, calling his ex-wife a liar.

“Brandi is lying,” Cibrian, 42, told People magazine. “She lies for the sake of publicity and she has to bring in my wife unfortunately for it to make headlines. It isn’t fair. She never asked LeAnn to not post pictures of the kids during the holidays, ever. They don’t even talk!”

Brandi also griped about the custody arrangement they have in place for Mason, 12, and Jake, 8, saying that she doesn’t see her sons as much as she wants to. Cibrian countered, “She sees the kids as much as I do. She was with them for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And I miss my kids tremendously when they’re not with me, but I don’t ask her not to post pictures.”

The actor went on to say that he and Brandi split in 2009 (after he was caught having an affair with the country singer), so “normal” to their sons is spending half their time with mom and half with dad.

“The kids have lived in a household with LeAnn and me longer than they ever lived in a household with me and Brandi,” he said. “This is normal.”

The actor, who said Brandi won’t leave them alone, thinks his ex should be happy that the boys’ stepmother cares about them so much.

“[Our sons] have a mother who loves them, and a father and a stepmother who loves them,” he said. “That’s all that should matter.”

All good points. But, of course, Cibrian and Rimes started all the public drama back in 2009 when they were both married and had an affair after meeting on the set of a Lifetime movie. They initially denied they had been cheating, but they were caught on camera. Their marriages ended later that year and they were married in 2011.
