Drake's Memorial Day Party Was Crazier Than Yours, Just Ask Kylie Jenner

Memorial Day honors those who have served our country and gives everyone an excuse to party — whether they can handle it or not. In honor of the (unofficial) start of summer, Drake (who happens to be Canadian, just FYI) hosted a blowout bash where Kylie Jenner cozied up to her new man, a few guests came to blows, and the police were called.

The celebration seemed to start out fine, with the 29-year-old rapper posting an Instagram shot of himself and a few friends soaking up the sun. “That time of year,” he captioned the snap. But as the day wore on and more and more busloads of partygoers arrived, according to TMZ, (and more alcohol was probably consumed), the soiree turned from manageable to packed. In an Instagram video, the master of ceremonies can be seen looking down on the masses from above, taking in the scene.

As the sun set, however, the tides turned as a full-on brawl broke out between two female guests. In a video clip, the… umm… ladies can be seen punching each other as one falls to the ground.

In the background, other guests clash as well, which is probably what prompted the noise complaints that landed police at the scene. Allegedly, by the time the cops arrived, the kerfuffle had died down, so the authorities simply left.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Kylie Jenner was coupling off with 22-year-old PartyNextDoor. “They were all over each other, kissing and making out,” a source told People. According to the eyewitness, Jenner was hanging all over the rapper — who is signed with Drake’s label OVO Sound — “the whole time” they were there. “It was almost like she was trying to make a statement,” the source noted in a loose reference to Jenner’s recent split from Tyga. (ICYMI, Jenner and 26-year-old Tyga dated for nearly two years before splitting earlier this month. He has since been linked to lingerie model Demi Rose Mawby.)

While Jenner and PartyNextDoor have been popping up all over each other’s social media accounts for the last few weeks, this is the first time they really laid it on thick in a public setting. A source had previously told People Jenner was only hanging out with PartyNextDoor “to make Tyga jealous,” but it remains to be seen whether that’s actually true or if she truly likes this guy. Regardless of Jenner’s motives, at least she escaped the party without getting in a girl fight.
