David Beckham Is People's Sexiest Man Alive 2015
Chris Hemsworth, your reign is over. There’s a new sexiest man alive in town and his name is David Beckham. That’s right, People magazine has bestowed their annual title upon the 40-year-old soccer star.
The big announcement was made on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night after Kimmel had the hunk — who was interviewed from London via Skype — play a guessing game with the audience while his face was masked and his voice was disguised.
After Beckham was revealed to be the Sexiest Man Alive, he joked, “I would obviously like to thank my parents for bringing me into this world, of course. I would like to thank my hairdresser, my stylist.“
While speaking to the magazine about scoring its 30th anniversary Sexiest Man crown, Beckham said he was “very pleased to accept,” but confessed, “I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person."

The humble Brit added, "I mean, I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way."
Does his wife, Victoria?
"I would hope that she feels this way about me all the time anyway!” he laughed. “But she said, ‘Congratulations!’"
With their good genes, it’s no surprise that Beckham and the former Spice Girl, 41, are parents to four beautiful children: Brooklyn, 16; Romeo, 12; Cruz, 10; and Harper, 4. But his little angels are apparently giving him some grief over the honor.
"We kind of laughed about it with the boys and the boys kind of laughed at me and said, 'Really?! Sexiest man alive? Really?’” he revealed.

Though Beckham is obviously quite easy on the eyes, we think it’s his love for his family that really sealed the deal for him when it came to landing his “sexy” title. The dedicated dad and tat addict recently debuted two pieces of body art inspired by his children. Daughter Harper drew a stick figure wearing a dress with a heart next to it, which he made permanent on his arm. His three sons also tattooed “We Love You Daddy” on his rib cage.
David has been happily married to Victoria for 16 years, but when your relationship has been in the spotlight for that long, it’s inevitable that you’re going to be plagued by rumors of a split. The power duo recently fought off divorce rumblings this fall, and are still going strong.
“I have never listened to, or commented on, the rumors about any aspect of my life,” Victoria told Grazia. “I am blessed to have a wonderful husband and beautiful, healthy, happy children.” The fashion designer added, “Yes, we travel a lot with our respective businesses and charitable commitments… But we always make time for each other as a couple and as a family. David and I have nothing to prove. We love each other, look out for each other and are strong as both partners and parents."
Oh, and did we mention that Mr. Beckham vacuums too? Now that’s sexy.
