Arsenio Hall Denies Sinead O'Connor's Claims That He Supplied Drugs to Prince

Sinead O'Connor took to Facebook on Monday making a series of controversial allegations including the claim that comedian Arsenio Hall supplied Prince with drugs over the years.
“Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades… Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince’s and Eddie Murphy’s b—-),” the singer-songwriter wrote. “Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Aresenio I’ve reported you to the Carver County Sherrif’s (sic) office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie Murphy’s house. You best get tidying your man cave.”
Hall was quick to deny O'Connor’s claims in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
“The statement regarding Arsenio Hall is absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd,” his rep Traci Harper said.
O'Connor has not responded to Hall’s denial, but this isn’t the first time she has taken to social media to make controversial statements. In November, she revealed her struggle with depression – four years after being diagnosed with PTSD – and in a lengthy Facebook post alerted her followers that she had taken a drug overdose. She was later located safely in Dublin, Ireland.
The “Purple Rain” singer died in late April, and although a cause of death has not yet been determined, sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the 57-year-old had a history of once using the prescription painkiller Percocet. Although Prince seemed to steer clear of recreational drugs, the sources said that he might have used the opiate to treat ongoing pain from his years of onstage performances.
